SEAHAZE SEA™ Limestone Quarry: Atlas Mountains, Morocco San Francisco Bay Area Project: Pool Pavers, Coping & Stepping Stones
We mail sample selection to client for approval before gathering top-quality blocks from our local quarry in the Atlas Mountains in Morocco.
We transfer the blocks to one of our factories for cutting and fabricating the pavers and coping to a Suregrip Moleskin finish, giving them the desired anti-slip surface and aesthetic per the client’s requirements.
Gothicstone drop ships the fully insured cargo container directly to the project site for unloading by the construction company eliminating multiple layers of handling/middlemen.
We consult the pool builder on the installation protocols. As with all dry-set installations of any paver system, we highly recommend utilizing a cellular confinement system (CCS) to mitigate the movement of the gravel below. A CCS system guarantees the longevity and structural integrity of the sub-base and prevents the possibility of future failure. Read our CCS blog to learn more.
The clean lines and cool pastel tones of the stone contribute to the “mid-century modern” quality of this property. Furthering the modernist charm of the era, old fashion “bullnose” pool coping is passed over and an eased edge “flat faced” coping is implemented. Our philosophy of end-to-end management benefits every natural stone project ensuring the client has the opportunity to be part of the process.
